Deception Pass State Park is a 4,134-acre marine and camping park with 77,000 feet of saltwater shoreline, 33 miles of hiking trails and much more. The park is located on Whidbey and Fidalgo islands in northwest Washington.
The cost of camping at Deception Pass State Park depends on the type of campsite you choose.
Standard campsites with water and electricity hookups are $33 per night. Campsites with full hookups (water, electricity and sewer) are $43 per night. There are also primitive hike-in/bike-in sites available for $12 per night.
All campsites have a maximum occupancy of eight people and two vehicles.
Does Deception Pass Have First Come First Serve Camping?
Yes, Deception Pass State Park offers first-come, first-served camping at all of its campgrounds. However, reservations are recommended if you plan to visit during the peak season (May through September). You can make reservations up to six months in advance by calling the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission at 1-888-226-7688 or visiting their website.
Can You Camp on Deception Island?

All sites are first come/first served. Loop A has coin operated showers ($0.50 for 3 minutes). There are no showers in loop B.
